Ansept Group is a holding company operating across general contracting, restoration, and abatement services in four provinces with a growing team of 50+. We are hiring a Content & Social Media Specialist as part of a dedicated marketing team being built to support all divisions across Western Canada.

This role owns the written brand presence across every channel and every division - social media, LinkedIn, blog, website, email campaigns, case studies, and SEO-optimized landing pages. Beyond writing, you manage the content calendar, schedule and publish posts across all platforms, monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and deliver weekly performance reports. You are the company's voice in the market, and the quality and consistency of that voice directly impacts how clients, candidates, and partners perceive the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write all copy across platforms and divisions, including social media captions, LinkedIn posts and articles, blog content, website pages, email campaigns, case studies, and SEO-optimized landing pages.
  • Manage and execute the content calendar across all company accounts and platforms. Plan, schedule, and publish content on a consistent cadence, ensuring no gaps in output and alignment with company priorities and campaign timelines.
  • Monitor engagement across all platforms daily. Respond to comments, direct messages, and inquiries in a timely, professional, and on-brand manner.
  • Track and report on content performance weekly, including engagement metrics, reach, follower growth, and content-specific results. Provide recommendations for improvement based on data.
  • Research, outline, and produce long-form content on industry topics, incorporating keyword research, subject matter input from project teams, and verified industry sources to ensure credibility and search visibility.
  • Develop case studies by coordinating with Project Managers and stakeholders to identify compelling project narratives, structuring content around a clear challenge-solution-result framework with specific outcomes.
  • Write and adapt content to reflect the distinct brand voice and positioning of each division, maintaining consistency within each brand while differentiating between them.
  • Collaborate with the Graphic Designer and Video Editor within the marketing pod to align written and visual content across campaigns.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Manager and Brand & Communications Specialist to ensure alignment between corporate communications, executive content, and division-level marketing output.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Marketing Department as required.

What We Offer

  • Full ownership of the written content function across a multi-brand, multi-province organization
  • A fully remote position with a collaborative marketing team
  • Full-time employees are eligible for company benefits. Contractor arrangements available for qualified candidates.
  • A clear growth path as the marketing function scales across additional provinces and divisions
  • Exposure to a diverse range of industries and content types across construction, restoration, and abatement
  • Support for relevant training and professional development

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional content writing or copywriting experience with a portfolio demonstrating work across multiple formats (social media, blog, website, email, case studies)
  • Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts for a business or brand, including scheduling, publishing, community management, and performance reporting
  • Strong command of English grammar, tone, and clarity with the ability to adapt voice across brands and channels
  • Experience managing a content calendar and delivering consistent output against deadlines with minimal oversight
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar) and basic analytics platforms
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage competing priorities across multiple brands

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience writing for construction, trades, restoration, real estate, or B2B professional services
  • SEO knowledge with examples of keyword-optimized content that ranks
  • Experience with LinkedIn content strategy and professional brand voice development
  • Portfolio includes conversion-focused content (case studies with measurable results, landing pages, email sequences)
  • Video script writing experience
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Experience working within a marketing pod or agency team structure serving multiple clients or brands

Important Considerations

Please review the following before applying. If any of the items below do not align with your experience or availability, this position may not be the right fit at this time.

  • This role requires a portfolio. Candidates who cannot provide writing samples across at least two content formats will not be considered.
  • Writing experience must be commercial or marketing-focused. Academic writing (essays, research papers) alone does not meet the requirements for this position.
  • This role requires managing social media accounts, not just writing content. Candidates looking for a writing-only position without platform management responsibilities should consider other opportunities.
  • Content must be delivered clean and publication-ready with minimal revision cycles. Candidates who require heavy editorial support on every deliverable may not be suited for this role.
  • This is a remote position. Candidates must have a reliable internet connection, a dedicated workspace, and the ability to maintain consistent output without in-person oversight.
